EXPLORE THE WORLD
“Life is your art. An open, aware heart is your camera. A oneness with your world is your film. Your bright eyes and easy smile is your museum.”
― Ansel Adams

ABOUT
Every time I have given a chance to travel, I wanted to record what I see, feel, touch, and other senses through my camera lens: regular camera, DSLR or cell phone's camera. Through photography, my senses especially my sights, I see different perspectives. I would like to share my travel experiences through your visual appreciations.

PAST TRAVELS
LIVING IN ASIA
In mid-2000s, my family and I moved from Australia to Singapore for work related. We lived there for nearly a decade and visited neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Philippines as family holiday destinations. I believe, that's when I started taking photography as one of my hobbies. Who couldn't resist not taking photography as a hobby when you know that this is not your forever home? You're a guest to the country and wanted to capture your experiences. As Karl Lagerfield said: "“What i like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”

SINGAPORE
The Lion City
Lived for nearly ten (10) years and made it our adopted home. Most of our friends were expatriates until we'd moved to east coast side of Singapore to mix with the locals: Chinese, Malay, and Indians but still maintain with our friendships with the expatriates community. MALAYSIA
The Peninsulas of Malay
Malaysia's iconic building is the Petronas Towers where located in the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Their dominant religion is Muslim and their main language is "Bahasa Malaysia". I could across the border between Singapore and Malaysia by bus to go to the closest town, Johor. (Image credit: flaglane dot com)

INDONESIA
The Emerald of Equator (Zamrud Khatulistiwa)
The closest island of Indonesia is Bintan. I might say this is the favourite holiday destination for local Singaporeans. During the school break, it's pack! The capital city is Jakarta has the craziest traffic. No way, I am driving a car to this country. We'd local driver to drive us around. My favourite destination, Bali. THAILAND
The Land of Smiles
Siam was the former name of Thailand. Another favourite destination for holiday is Phuket. I never seen a country has so many temples especially in Bangkok. Their official language is Thai and majority of Thais practiced Buddism. (Image credit: flaglane dot com)

VIETNAM
Former Capital is Called Saigon
I joined a group travel photography which was organized by Australian photographer who based in Singapore. This group travel photography trip was attended by people from England, USA, Australia, & Philippines. We went to Ho Chi Min, Hanoi, and Sapa by plane, train, bus, and tuk tuk. I think, the highlight of the trip was to go to Sapa and met the hill tribes known as Hmong. (Image credit: flaglane dot com)

PHILIPPINES
Pearl of the Orient Seas
There are three main islands: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Philippines has about 175 dialects. Tagalog or Filipino is the national language and English is business language. Catholicism is the strong dominant in faith. Tourism is a major contributor to the Philipines economy. It has beautiful beaches, no wonder it is a popular destination for retirees from Europe, USA, and Australia. It has three climate seasons: hot, rainy, and cool. LIVING IN AMERICA
The Land of Opportunities
Once again, my family and I moved from Singapore to America for a career opportunity. While living in America, we have travel different States by way of train rides, airplanes, and road trips. It's a massive country with plenty of photography destinations or locations. What a change of climates! America has four (4) seasons: Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winter. I might say Spring and Autumn seasons are my favourite due to climate and the vibrant colours of plants and sceneries. So far, my favourite city is New York City, its vibrant, Broadway shows, fashion, etc. I do like the Washington DC , not because of the White House, it's the Smithsonians museums! Florida: Orlando for their themeparks, and Miami for their beach. Golly me! I think the best beach is Waikiki, Hawaii! It's clean and clear ocean. We would like to live more years here in America. There are many places to explore. Few photos below, places which I've visited.

LIVING IN AUSTRALIA
The Down Under
It has seven (7) States: Queensland (QLD), New South Wales (NSW), Melbourne (Victoria), Tasmania (TAS), Northern Territory (NT), Western Australia (WA), and Australian Capital Territory (ACT). My family and I lived in the QLD known as the Sunshine State. I loved the Great Barrier Reef; enjoyed the tropical rainforest like Daintree; plenty of beautiful beaches in Whitsunday, Clifton Beach, etc. You can locate the most iconic architecture building - Sydney Opera House in NSW. In Fremantle, Perth (WA) you can find the well-preserved architectural heritage buildings. Did you know Sydney is not the capital city of Australia? It's Canberra (ACT). This is where the political centre of this country. Australia is a multicultural country. I made friends from people from different cultural and/or religions background.
